In this program, join Historian Marie Walker as we look at immigration through the lens of Ellis Island and Angel Island. Ellis Island was one of the busiest immigrant inspection stations in the U.S. from 1892-1924, while Angel Island immigration station handled most of the immigration on the west coast from 1910-1940. Learn about these sights and the important role they played.
